Düsseldorf’s first badminton club was founded more than 55 years ago in the former ice stadium on Brehmstrasse. Today the club has more than 90 members and trains mostly in the Heinrich Heine Comprehensive School in the Mörsenbroich district or the Rückert secondary school in Rath.

Düsseldorfer Segler-Verein  
Every summer, about 160 members frolic around on the bend in the Rhine south of the city, the club’s home territory. The most varied types of boats, from Optis for children to regatta yachts for the ambitious, make the lessons interesting for all. New faces are welcome on club night each Wednesday evening.
