One of the most famous rock clubs and meeting places in Germany celebrated its 30th birthday in 2006. Whether Billy Talent or Bushido, Eric Burdon or the Red Hot Chili Peppers: the stars of the alternative music scene have appeared here, often when they were just starting out. The Elfer has been an institution in terms of musicians’ hangouts, right next to Frankfurt’s legendary Batschkapp music hall. Musicians such as Robbie Williams, Nena and Rosenstolz have played table soccer here. Many live concerts take place here as well, just like next door.

Frankfurter Art Bar (FAB)
Nice music bar with delicious snacks and, even better, good beer. There’s always something going on from Tuesdays to Saturdays. Concerts, cabaret, readings and performances take place every Wednesday, open stage on Thursdays, “easy listening” jazz on Fridays.
