The constantly advancing expansion of the Triotop commercial district in the west of Cologne will bring music, cultural and sports fans a new highlight in the form of the Halle Tor 1 event location.
Work started on the € 15 million project in the Energy Dome grounds in summer 2011.

When it’s completed at the end of 2012, the oval-shaped, 14-m high building will have a glass facade on the entrance side and an illuminated roof.

It will have room for up to 5,000 visitors. As a mid-sized hall that can be divided into separate areas with variable stages and seating, the building fills a gap in provision in the region.

It will have a wide variety of uses, including providing a stage for cultural and music attractions, as well as sporting events, local fairs, company presentations, and carnival sessions.
